RightFiber maintenance scheduled for April 13th

The following email was received alerting us to some scheduled maintenance that RightFiber will be doing in our neighborhood. Please read below to see if you may be affected and give them a call if you have any questions.

Subject: River Oaks Internet Maintenance
Good afternoon Mr. Underwood,
I’m just following up on the voicemail I left. As I mentioned on the call, we are having to make a change to our network due to being at capacity, so we will be planning make some splicing adjustments on Thursday, April 13th. We will be planning to complete this work from 11:00pm – 7:00am to minimize any potential disruption. This change will only have a potential affect on 15 customers on River Oaks Trace, River Oaks Blvd., White Oak Circle, River Ridge, and Oak Meadow Pl. We do not anticipate that work will affect anyone’s service, however, if equipment does go out during that time and does not come back up, we will need to know and can get that back online asap.
This is just an advance notice of the maintenance we will be doing so that you all in River Oaks are aware. If you have any questions, let me know. We will try to send notifications to individual residents as well.

  I believe many River Oaks property owners are uninformed or misinformed about the River Oaks POA.   I have purchased land and built about a dozen homes in River Oaks, from the very first phase through three fourths of the development. Updated Statement on the Installation of Solar Panels in River Oaks

Because many property owners in River Oaks have expressed an interest in solar panels, the Board wants to remind members of the River Oaks Property Owners Association that there is a stated policy on the installation of solar panels, issued in December 2021.   It reads as follows: The Board has received some inquiries from residents who are thinking about installing solar panels on their property in the River Oaks Addition.  The Board encourages residents to check with the Searcy city code office regarding city guidelines for solar panels (Ordinance 2021-16 at https://www.cityofsearcy.org/ordinances-resolutions ) and to consult the POA covenants prior to making modifications to their property, especially the guidelines relating to modifications visible from the street.  The covenants can be accessed on the blog at RiverOaksSearcy.blogspot.com If any resident has questions about installing solar panels or any other issues related to the covenants, the questions can be ...
